| The following rules apply for the Animal Lore skill: |
- Animal Lore allows you to see detailed information about your pet: stats,
skills, preferred food, loyalty rating and pack instinct.
- Below 100.0 skill you can view statistics of any tamed creature,
- once you reach 100.0 of any tamable creature (wild or tame),
- and at 110.0+ of any creature in the game.
- It accounts for 20% of your chance to control a pet (Animal Taming accounts
for 80%).
- It's the complementary skill used for Veterinary, like Anatomy for Healing.
- You need a minimum of 60 skill points in both Animal Lore and Veterinary to be able to cure poison and a minimum of 80 skill points in both Animal Lore and Veterinary to be able to resurrect a pet
- Animal Lore is a target-based skill, this means you have to use it on
numerous targets to keep gaining if you want to gain from direct use.
- This skill also raises passively while taming or healing a pet with the
Veterinary skill.
- The professional title for Animal Lore is Ranger.
