* TIPS FOR MAILING CARE-PACKAGES:
  • Small, padded envelopes seem to work best. If you can, split up the items into two or more envelopes. These have the best success rate so far.
  • Make sure you include a customs form! These are available at any post office and must be attached to any package over 16 oz.
  • When filling out the customs form, try to play down the contents (i.e. don't make whatever's inside sound too tempting- mail theft is rampant!)
  • Don't forget to throw in lots of good thoughts. A couple of hugs never hurt anyone, either.
  • If you can't send a package, send a good old-fashioned letter. A letter from home is still a great present!
